Volunteer work for young adults between the age of 18 and 35 years.
Volontariat bewegt
Young people work voluntarily in Don Bosco projects.
Jugend Eine Welt arose as an initiative of young people who were engaged in social work in Ecuador. Since our establishment, we have been sending volunteers to work for one year in Don Bosco projects in the countries of the Global South. The Volontariat bewegt initiative has been coordinating this volunteer work of young adults between the age of 18 and 35 years since 2013. Volontariat bewegt is an initiative of the Salesians of Don Bosco in Austria and Jugend Eine Welt. Both supporting organizations work closely together.

Don Bosco Sozialwerk
In April 2020 the name was changed to Don Bosco Sozialwerk (originally Don Bosco Flüchtlingswerk). Jugend Eine Welt is a founding member and was a supporting organization until 30.06.2020.

More information is available on the website of Don Bosco Sozialwerk.

Entwicklungspolitisches Engagement
Jugend Eine Welt is a member of these platforms.
With the help of extensive campaigns, information, and educational work, Jugend Eine Welt represents the interests of young people from developing countries. Sponsorship of professional organizations is a no less important part of Jugend Eine Welt’s activities than its own educational work. Such organizations deal more intensively with specific issues that are particularly important for Jugend Eine Welt.
